I live in Westborough, Massachusetts with my wife Ellen and our dog Duke. I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Texas A&M University and a master's degree in mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley. After 25 years in software engineering I now help people learn to ride motorcycles from March through October, help them learn to ski at Wachusett Mountain from December through March, and tutor students in mathematics and the sciences throughout the year.
Another of my long-term interests is shooting. I teach recreational shooting with pistol, rifle, and shotgun, and am certified by the states of Massachusetts and Utah to teach certification courses for their firearms licenses.
